Mit faglige fokus ligger inden for strategisk planlægning og bæredygtig byudvikling. Jeg har forsket og udgivet peer-reviewed artikler og bøger inden for disse emner. Jeg har også praktisk erfaring med byplanlægning og strategisk planlægning gennem:

·    arbejde for Københavns Kommune (Økonomi Forvaltningen og Teknik- og Miljøforvaltningen), 

·    byudviklingsprojekter og konkurrencer i Danmark og i udlandet 

·    programledelse for programområdet CITIES i Dansk Arkitektur Center, hvor jeg har udviklet kurser, udstillinger, formidlingsplatforme, m.fl. – her vil jeg fremhæve kursusforløbet for topchefer i danske kommuner Strategisk Byledelse, den digitale platform for bæredygtige projekter Bæredygtige Byer, og Copenhagen X.

Jeg har en bred undervisningserfaring på alle niveauer fra bachelor, til kandidat, master og PhD niveauer, og har været med til at udvikle undervisningsprogrammer på disse niveauer.  

Jeg har en solid erfaring med fundraising og har fået tildelt støtte til forskning og øvrige projekter både gennem mit akademiske arbejde og mit arbejde som programchef i Dansk Arkitektur Center. I den forbindelse dyrker jeg et bred netværk som omfatter, højere undervisningsanstalter, kommuner, fonde, private firmaer (tegnestuer, m.fl.), øvrige organisationer i Danmark og internationalt.
