PhD fellow in Aarhus School of Architecture 2019- current
PhD thesis is part of Research Lab.3: Emerging Sustainable Architecture, under the title of "In search of Responsible Architecture: Sustainable Building Practices for Behavior Change". This study focuses on designing a framework for architectural practice and education that includes behavior change strategies in holistic methodologies to design, evaluate and practice architecture.
Masters in Global Environmental Management, Kyoto University, Japan 2016-2018
Masters in international Program of Environmental Management. The thesis was part of a research project about Indonesian resettlement projects called Transmigration. I investigated community capitals, built capital, housing transformation, dwellers adaptation, and living conditions. Three years of a research project sponsored by the Japanese Ministry of Education (MEXT) 2015-2018.
CoHHO Internship and training program, Kyoto University, Japan 2016-2017
One year of training in sustainable management of human-water-forest settlements, earned 16 credits. Including three months of Internship in Andalas University, Sumatra Island, Indonesia, to study about sustainable adaptation of rural resettled communities. Earned the title of Nature and Humanity Coordinator of CoHHO Educational Program.
PDC (Permaculture Design Course) in Green School Bali, Indonesia 2016
Permaculture and bamboo building skills and project design offered by KulKul farm as part of Green School’s environmental education program.
Bachelor’s in architecture and Urban Planning, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil 2009-2014
Graduated as an Architecture and Urbanist. Final project about emergency shelter and social housing for a homeless community in Rio.

Design and implementation of projects in different countries around Asia, focusing on community design. Responsible for assisting research projects, training new students, field survey activities and others.

Junior Architect, Fernanda Salles Architecture Office, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil 2012-2013
Worked in a variety of projects, from interior to urban. The main project was the urbanization and social housing for Rio’s slum Morro da Providência.

Joined a research team from UFRJ-IPPUR to make the master plan of Itatiaia City. Work consisted of urban design, collaborative community participation workshops, community assessment as well as legislation and planning.
