Description

Led by Ricelli Laplace (they/them), the 'Future(s) Beyond the Binary' workshop invited participants to delve into a transformative exploration of diverse mediums and collages, as we co-create and co-imagine cities of the future that challenge societal and spatial binaries. Drawing from the rich perspectives of Indigenous Queer Futurism, we will embark on a journey of radical sustainability and collective storytelling, fostering a space for meaningful conversation and critical reflection on the present-day dichotomies that permeate our lives. By transcending these limitations, this workshop was developed to help people imagine inclusive visions of future urban spaces that are inclusive of diverse traditions, cultures, and identities.
