Inclusive Urban Dwelling and Social Sustainability

The project was a collaboration between the Research Institute 3 (Institute of Planning) at the School of Architecture and Centre for Furniture, Spatial and Industrial Design at the School of Design. Aiming to develop inclusive urban dwelling forms that envisage socially sustainable urban situation, the project investigated and re-evaluated, through case studies, the potential of architectural components, fittings and furniture that not only enrich spatial experience but also enhance social interactions both within the dwelling unit and at realm in urban context.
