Description

Montage as theory, thought and practice is a field that has not been subjected to a scientific study. This is despite the fact that the pragmatics of montage work in at all levels of society, from the hypermontage of globalism to the endless stream of images and at a local level as specific solutions to specific artistic problems. The core of the project is to make a section throug this field which allows a study of how montage can be made the basis for handling artistic problems.
The publishing platform of the project is a collection of peer-reviewed papers and articles which in their own way define a local section of the overall theme. Planned publications include following texts:
Model & Fiction (Paper + proceedings Bari in May 2011, Modelstudies, KA publishing 2012)
Picturesque Soundscapes (Under the Spire 2010)
