Description
This PhD is part of a larger design-based research study on children´s play in school funded by Independent Research Fund Denmark. The core of the large study is a design for play, involving 12 play experiments, in two schools in Aarhus. The pivot of this PhD project is the play practices of pedagogues. This project explore pedagogical practices according to children´s play in school through co-creation of play experiments and narrative workshops with children and pedagogues. By doing ethnographic fieldwork following the experiments and workshops, the project elucidate if and how pedagogues, who participate in a design for play, discover and develop play practices that can support a diversity of play participations amongst children.
