This industrial PhD investigates sustainable design and construction solutions for warehouse, energy, and production buildings. Based on the factors for climate mitigation and adaptation, the project focuses on three fundamental aspects within this new emerging building typology: how to lower embedded emissions, enable adaptation and circularity, and increase building and material longevity. The project aim is, by investigating historic and contemporary knowledge related to this building typology, to contribute with new knowledge and solutions for both research and practice.
