Current:

Associate professor at School of Conservation since 2014. Main area of teaching and research is preventive conservation.

 

Education:

2007. PhD, School of Conservation, Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, in cooperation with the International Centre for Indoor Environment and Energy, Technical University of Denmark.

2001. Conservator (MSc), School of Conservation, Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.

1995. Conservator (BSc), School of Conservation, Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.

  • The dynamics of air and climate: from outdoor atmospheric chemistry and meteorology to the micro-environments found indoors.

  • Climate control in buildings by active or passive means, including the special needs in historic houses.
  • Living conditions, health, indoor environments, and personal exposures, for historic and prehistoric people (e.g., in Viking Age houses).
