Associate professor at School of Conservation since 2014. Main area of teaching and research is preventive conservation.

  • The impact of air pollution on materials.
  • The dynamics of air and climate: from outdoor atmospheric chemistry and meteorology to the micro-environments found indoors.
  • Energy, sustainability and the operation of museum buildings.
  • Climate control in buildings by active or passive means, including the special needs in historic houses.
  • Living conditions, health, indoor environments, and personal exposures, for historic and prehistoric people (e.g., in Viking Age houses).
