Activity: Other activity typesOther

Description

Research travel to North-Sweden and North-Norway (North Calotte) for the study of energy landscapes.

The objective was to observe and register culturally made landscapes tied to ressource extraction, holding a special focus on the consequences of the ongoing transition from fossil to renewable energy. The research travel was a pilot study with the objective of registering landscape and architecture characteristics through artistic means of exploration. The study is a part of my research project "Habitats of Extraction".
