Spil med spejle / Deflected Reflections: Kontrast, symmetri og tid i Gordon Douglas’ videokunst / Contrast, symmetry and time in the video art of Douglas Gordon.

Incorporating references to film, literature and art, the article is taking its starting point in the dialectic relationship between dichotomies such as light and darkness. These and other contrasts are reflected in language and stock phrases and are often associated with religious notions of good and evil. Douglas Gordon's work is exploiting these oppositions in a play of interchange, reversal and overturning.
