Abstract

The exhibition showed a segment of textile nonwoven material trials created by a group of 3rd-semester students from Product+ (Institute of Architecture and Design at the Royal Danish academy). The primary purpose of the material trials was to gain insight into the complex challenges associated with recycling textiles. The trials investigated how specific narrative properties and emotional values can be consciously implemented as part of the overall material experience. The exhibition aimed to question the designer's role in making "new" materials and how the designer can influence the sensory experience of the materials.
