Abstract
A circular economy is an economy driven by products that are worth circulating. For consumers, for brands, and for ‘flattening the curve’ of current overproduction and overconsumption. Resale and services for maintaining fashion products in use has supported trade empires and cultural and monetary exchange for thousands of years in all cultures, and in all parts of the world. It is only for the last 4-5 decades that a linear throw-away mindset has been ‘business-as-usual’, and it is now time to reconfigure our industry by learning from the past and adapting for the future to come.
