Description
The purpose of the project is to investigate, identify and describe design methodology within the field of fashion design. The study takes a particular interest in the temporal, structural and embodied dimensions of the design practise.
The overall aim is to contribute with new methodological knowledge to fashion design practise, fashion design education and fashion design research.
The project is carried out as a case-based qualitative study amongst professional fashion designers. It applies a bricolage approach and uses phenomenography,interview, visual ethnography and analogies as the methodological tools in producing and analyzing empirical data from DK and UK.
