Description
Insiders: Othered Histories makes visible spatial qualities of domestic rooms depicted
through a female gaze. Focused in 19th century genre paintings by European female artists who presented their views on their homes, the project reveals ideas of interiority and discusses practices of care, material sensibilities and ideas of conviviality.
