Actor network and spatial/territorial impact mapping of Danish agri-food landscapes

Project Details

Description

The project explores novel and effective approaches of analysing and visualizing the socio-spatial/territorial/network conditions of the agro-food sector in general and the Danish pig industry in particular. This sector is in focus due to its considerable spatial/territorial footprint; its large contribution to Danish GHG emissions, and its negative impact on biodiversity (Rosing S.; Gram. K; Faergem, T., 2013) – in other words, an enhanced understanding, and transformation of this sector is critical if Denmark is to meet its planned climate and environmental goals (Klimarådet 2020).
