Description
ens Pedersen is an industrial Ph.D. Candidate and project manager at Odico Construction Robotics. He researches how Odico's factory on the fly concept can be augmented with new interface methods and processing capabilities, which has led to his studies, including patent-pending technology and Denmark's first commercial robotically fabricated timber house. Jens has recently been on leave from his Ph.D to lead a large geometrically complex project at Odico, where they delivered close to 400 unique molds to a site in Copenhagen.
Jens will present projects from Odico and his PhD, while reflecting upon the importance of "tolerance" and how important they are when translating from digital to physical construction environments or even vice versa.
