Every year, The Best Dutch Book Designs celebrates the best products of the graphic industry in the Netherlands: 33 books made with heart and soul. Books set apart by the combination of great design and commissioning with high-quality lithography, printing and bindings. The jury assessment takes place at the end of January.
In the 2018 edition (books published in 2018, judged in January 2019) one book designed by Studio Joost Grootens was awarded: Deane Simpson, Kathrin Gimmel, Anders Lonka, Marc Jay, Joost Grootens (eds.), 'Atlas of the Copenhagens' (Ruby Press)
