'This is what we do, this is how we do it'. Presentation on research-in-progress undertaken as part of the ADAPT-r (Architecture, Design and Art Practice Training-research) network. Discussing the developing model of creative practice doctoral research, as it was developed at RMIT, and as it is now being expanded across Europe via the 7 institutions of the ADAPT-r network. This paper discusses the reliance on the research supervisor in the creative practice doctorate as a catalyst for explicating knowledge from practice.
