Abstract

This explorative essay searches some arguable connections between atmosphere, anthropocene and urbanity. First, I launch the concept of the Metapolis as graduated city, second, I venture into the relationship between Metapolis and anthropocene, third into the relationship between Metapolis and atmosphere, and fourth atmosphere as weather in the anthropogenic Metapolis is addressed. The essay closes with a few remarks on different positions on political action in the anthropogenic Metapolis.
