Abstract
Departing from their dispute about the reconstruction of the Bauhaus in West Germany after WW2, this article discusses Asger Jorn´s and Max Bill´s different notions of form. Implicitly, this also brings to the forth their different attitude regarding the positions of art and life in the postwar period.
