L´Architecture Sauvage: Asger Jorn´s critique and concept of architecture

Publications: Book / Anthology / Thesis / ReportBookResearch

Abstract

Danish artist Asger Jorn (1914-1973) is internationally renowed as a proponent of Nordic art and for his activities as a member of Cobra and the Situationist International. Quite apart from his art, Jorn produced a remarkable quantity of writing on art, architecture and urbanism and engaged in discussions and collaborations with architects such as Poul Henningsen and Jørn Utzon. This book reveals for the first time this largely ignored aspect of his work.
