Abstract
The recast of the EU EPB Directive that introduces the obligation that starting from 2020 all newly constructed or extensively renovated buildings should be nearly zero-energy buildings (nZEB). This paper examines the potential of the novel technologies application in the process of modernisation of Polish public buildings to an nZEB standard.
