Abstract

The exhibition “Biblioteca Analoga” is an invited exhibition and it was developed ad hoc for the REMIX series curated by GIZMO at Polytechnic University of Milan, Architecture. With this series, the research collective invited a number of emerging architectural practices who are using, in a sort of mix, a wide variety of modes of architectural production to design an installation in a given space named the Cube, with three given walls, that forms a sort of open room in the foyer of the University. Among those, the practice which I co-founded, OFFICE U67 ApS, was invited to contribute to the series and thus, as founders, we decided to combine our individual ongoing PhD research in the two different Danish Architecture Schools into one site-specific installation. That’s why we say that Biblioteca Analoga is born from the meeting of “The Labourification of Work” -my ongoing PhD research at the Aarhus School of Architecture, and “States of Proximity” Fabio Gigone’s ongoing PhD research at the Centre of Privacy Studies - KADK in Copenhagen.
