Abstract
In contrast to the epidemic application of PV panels in Germany and the Alps region, the article analyses three projects that were related to energy efficiency and sustainable development and it presents how sustainability and energy issues should be taken into full account on various professional dimensions. Sustainable Architecture must relate to local conditions and without including cultural , social and aestehtic aspects, it becomes meaningless and has nothing to do with architecture.
