Description
The dating of this manuscript written by Leonora Christine, daughter of King Christian the Fourth, has been much discussed. Did she write it during her many years in prison or was it - or parts of it - written at a later state of her life? In connection with a new edition of the text the manuscript was examined visually. The information which can be gained from the watermarks in the paper will be related to the analysis of the textual elements in order to establish a more precise dating of the manuscript.
