Description
Under the title of Spatial Dimensions of Accessibility, the thesis discusses potential roles of accessibility (within the practice of architecture) in realising an inclusive society. The approach to this large field of inquiry was twofold: on the one hand the thesis unfolds discussions in order to integrating accessibility – both as a concept and an instrument – into creative processes of architecture and the built environment; on the other hand the thesis set a purpose to contribute to the production of inclusive urban dwellings which were considered as an essential element for realising inclusive urban environments reflecting socio-economic and political circumstances of Danish housing.
