Description

Traditionally, discussions surrounding architecture and disability have been characterized by a negative perspective, often describing disabled individuals solely by their limitations, and the environment, by its barriers. Places and Small Pleasures sets out to challenge this narrative by exploring and communicating the everyday pleasures experienced by disabled individuals within their physical surroundings. By delving into these moments of delight, we aim to not only reframe the conversation through a new perspective but also explore how these positive experiences intersect with the design of the built environment.
