    Description

The Centre for the Study of Privacy in Society (PRIVACY) will sample and analyze, through a novel interdisciplinary approach, how notions of privacy shape relations between individual and society across diverse historical contexts. PRIVACY is driven by the ambition to mobilize the past as an information resource that can help us to understand intricacies and boundaries of current notions of privacy, thus contributing long-term to future solutions to challenges related to the individual’s place in society.
The center which is going to be headed by Prof. in theology Mette Birkedal Bruun will provide KADK with 2-3 postdocs and 2-3 Ph.D.-positions. Our international core members are among others Maarten Delbeke, Prof., History and Theory of Architecture, ETH, Zurich.
