    Description

    The research project investigates development of sustainable emergency shelters for extreme conditions. Following the first phase (completed) the project in the second phase investigated spatial formations and architectural requirements for shelters using deployable structures. Also this phase investigated grid types for deployable systems, design and analysis of deployable scissor type structures. Prototypes of different grids were analysed and the results and small scale physical models were constructed
