Project Details

Description

As part of the Royal Academy's strategic focus area 'Trivsel og Mangfoldighed’ (Well-being and Diversity), the Cluster for Spatial Inclusion collaborates with the DisOrdinary Architecture Project to collect and spread knowledge about and use of alternative methods to collect data on accessibility and inclusion.
By combining an open approach (alternative mapping method) to the more normative audit based on building regulations (BR18), the project aims to identify key issues with accessibility and inclusion on the Royal Academy's campuses, and to improve the students' understanding of accessibility and inclusion in architectural design.
