Personal profile

Curriculum vitae

As photography is my passion, the preservation of photographic heritage has always motivated my professional path. I did my master's and doctorate in conservation and restoration with photography as a specialization, and I've been working with photographs since the beginning of my career.

My research has been focused on plastic-based photographic materials, as well as colour photographs. Since my PhD I have been mainly dedicated to the preservation of slide-based artworks. I have been studying the long-term stability and colour change of these chromogenic reversal films, as well as its time-based media component to contribute to the development of good practices for the preservation and display of these unique and complex objects.
