Personal profile

Curriculum vitae

My research area is focusing on the relationship between crafting materiality and digital representation, and how experiential knowledge of crafts rooted in ceramics can be utilized in the use of digital technologies. The research is practice-based and material-driven, and includes experimental 3D form giving through programming of responding systems and 3d printing in clay that point to the importance of material properties as the driving force in the design process with new technologies.
