Den grundlæggende arkitektuddannelses vigtigste mål er at få de studerende til at udvikle en procesorienteret arkitektfaglig arbejdsmetodik baseret på projektarbejde. Det centrale i udviklingen af sådan en arbejdsmetodik er at opøve evnen til at indkredse, analysere og formulere en æstetisk, programmatisk og teknisk projektformulering.

Der afsøges rum i det mikroskopiske – eksempelvis støv og andre aflejringer.
Interesseområder
Det primære interesseområde samler sig om arkitekturteoretiske og æstetiske undersøgelser af dynamiske fænomener karakteriseret af begreber som 'netværk', 'fragmentering', ´tilfælde´ og ´desorganisering´. Herunder også forholdet mellem det urbane og individet, arkitektens rolle i produktionen af det urbane rum og forholdet mellem repræsentation og fysisk virkelighed.
