Research areas
Anne Romme is an architect and associate professor at the Royal Academy. She researches the future of housing and communities and builds sustainable houses inspired by the geometries of nature. She is the founder of the bachelor program Finder Sted.
She holds degrees from Princeton University School of Architecture (M.Arch.), Cooper Union, New York (B.Arch.) and the Royal Academy (PhD).
She is co-founder of the research cluster Meaning and Measure. Vice Head of Insittute, School of Architecture and Culture (2018-19). Member of the board of the Danish Institute in Athens, member of the editorial board of Magasin for Bygningskunst og Kultur, member of the Academy, recipient of the Cooper Union President's Citation 2023.
