Abstract

The Sunset Space is a reflection that connects us to the sun the universe, joined together with the present landscape of weather, wind and time, at dusk and dawn.

Interweaving past and present to create a significant, memorable viking place that continues to go with the ever-changing story of Jelling.

Combining the old estate and the modern museum into a cultural historical mosaic with the green roof has created a democratic green landscape for all times.

Thinking of landscape as a whole: climate adaption combined with rehabilitation and recreation in a public park filled with new possibilities and biodiversity - all in a former park isolated and overused for car parking.
