Abstract

Within the multiple array of intellectual positions on the idea of the project, one thing appears certain: practicing architects, educators, and architectural researchers, all working with different media, methods, and principles, refer almost unanimously to their work as projects. Has the word become too generic to define anything directly or tangentially relating to architecture? Or is there still specificity in the term that makes room for ingenious approaches to architecture?
