Abstract
This article deals with the role that speculative design prototypes have as means to intervene in contexts of everyday life in order to explore, and possibly facilitate, new types of relationships between human and non-human beings. Focusing on an off-centered design of the human, it seeks to explore what types of new possibilities may arise when speculation in design meets the practice of doing what might be termed an "exogenous ethnography".
