Abstract
The exhibition showcased a selection of experimental nonwoven textile materials developed by 3rd-semester students from the Product+ programme at the Institute of Architecture and Design, Royal Danish Academy. The project explored the complex challenges of textile recycling, with particular emphasis on the role of design, especially in relation to colour and texture. Students examined how narrative qualities and emotional value can be intentionally embedded in material design to enhance the sensory experience. The exhibition also reflected on the designer’s role in shaping "new" materials and how designers can influence the perception and experience of recycled materials.
