Abstract

This chair’s report reflects on the Architecture into the Unknown EAAE–ARCC Conference 2024 and its exploration of contemporary challenges in architectural research. Bringing together diverse international research cultures, the conference addressed sustainability, material practices, ethics, interdisciplinarity, and future architectural education through papers, workshops, and explorative practices. The report discusses the conference themes, peer-review process, and experimental formats while highlighting the importance of collaborative and practice-based approaches in shaping future architectural research.
