    Abstract

The article discusses how one can move around in the space of Arab architecture. This relationship is being examined in three traditional mosques, wherein a key observation is that the space of the mosques is oriented ambiguously and with contrast. The concept of parallax are also introduced - the experience of elements closer to us moving faster when we move than elements further away. The article concludes that Arab architecture can teach us something today, in that it does not dictate any movement, but instead facilitates possible movements.
