Material and Bodily Investigations in IoT-Driven Accessory Design: Practice-Based Methodologies and Methods

Through practice-based design research, this project contributes to exploring the components of IoT technology, to advance a designerly perspective of connectivity technology, and transform multifaceted and intangible systems into methods to inspire design practice and expand the general cultural framework of unknown technology. The objective is to enhance comprehension of the structure pertinent to designers and society, wherein technology is deconstructed through methodologies employed by designers within their design processes. This strategy fosters the establishment of connections through tangible methodologies, which can encourage designers to engage with one of the foremost technological advancements, namely connectivity technology, and expands the general culture understanding of the systems and technology surrounding us.
