Crafting Urban Quality - A Story of Practice

This thesis examines how urban quality emerges through development practices in Copenhagen's contemporary urban development. Through 18 months of fieldwork with developers, architects, and investors, the study revealed how global investment dynamics transform traditional notions of urban living and urban nature. The research provides new insights into how urban qualities are strategically crafted through temporal narratives and development practices, contributing to broader discussions about sustainable urban development and the future of city-making.
