Beskrivelse

The ATRIA Residence is a facility of the Pere Mata Group (Reus), which is devoted to the care of people with intellectual disabilities and/or mental health diseases. ATRIA host children and adolescents. The residence ATRIA results from the transformation of an existing building (an old warehouse), and the construction of new wings (living room, dining room, porches and awnings). The project is organized around a tree-lined central courtyard, and faces the patios of nearby units. All indoor spaces enjoy natural light and cross ventilation. The residence has been designed taking the model of a patio house thus humanizing the experience of inhabiting.
