During the exhibition, 15 participating artists were specially invited to participate in resident creation, and the winning works of the 11th National College Students' Marine Cultural Creative Design Competition were also specially exhibited.
This year's theme "Sunrise at Sea" symbolizes new hope and a new beginning. The organizers said that every dawn means new opportunities, and every wave contains infinite possibilities. Through this exhibition, they hope to arouse more people's attention to marine ecological protection, stimulate the public's interest in marine culture, and jointly protect our blue home.
Since the first "Blue Dream" exhibition in 2020, relying on the platform of Xiamen International Ocean Week, the exhibition has become an important window for promoting international marine cultural and artistic exchanges. In the past five years, it has attracted more than 100 artists from more than 20 countries to participate. Their works show diverse perspectives on the relationship between humans and the ocean, and through interaction with Xiamen elements, they further deepen the possibility of cross-border artistic cooperation. At the same time, with the support of all parties, the international influence of the exhibition has continued to increase, becoming an important international case in the field of marine art and cultural cooperation.Producer/forfatter Text/Reporter Li Xiaoqing Lin Xiaoyun Photo/Reporter Chen Jiaxin URL https://epaper.xmrb.com/xmwb/pad/con/202411/03/content_46133.html Personer Anders Hermund
