Beskrivelse

This event explores how scholars might better understand woodland change by bringing together research on large-scale global forest shifts with detailed case-based histories about woodlands.
In doing so, it fosters an interdisciplinary conversation among noted scholars from the social and natural sciences, including Matteo Garbelotto (forest pathology), Janet Franklin (landscape-scale forest dynamics), Osamu Saito (rural production landscapes), Andrew Mathews (forest histories), Annik Schnitzer (plant diversity), Pep Serra-Diaz (forest system modeling), Jens Christian Svenning
