VELUX Daylight Event 2010

Beskrivelse

During the very dark period of January we put focus on the importance of daylight. The cantina at the Architecture School in Aarhus and Copenhagen will set the stage for explorations in the modelling of daylight in scale 1:1. Through online webcam the two cantinas will be visually and audibly connected so that we, remotely, are enable to follow each others investigations, inspire and challenge each other. At KA the daylight workshop will be led by performance- and installation artist Karin Søndergaard. She will teach performative methods as a way to investigate light zones. These investigations will act as inspiration to create daylight settings to the cantina of KA. Karin’s expert knowledge in communication through media will also help the students to communicate the daylight settings of the cantina.
