Professional development for Teacher

Beskrivelse

The Professional Development for Teachers (PDT) is organised for teachers at The Oslo School of
Architecture and Design and The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts Schools of Architecture,
Design and Conservation by Centre for Educational Development, Aarhus University.
The aim of the PDT is to contribute to the professionalization and quality of teaching through the
development of didactic knowledge, practical teaching skills, educational development and by
fostering a scholarly approach to teaching.
After the course the participants should be able to:
• Describe and analyse key features of quality teaching, didactic concepts, and students as
learners.
• Collect data, analyse, and communicate about their teaching practices and experiences to
colleagues.
• Re-design, implement and evaluate well-aligned teaching and assessment activities within
their own disciplines and organizational contexts.
• Disseminate teaching knowledge and practices with a scholarly approach
