After the supervisor course on 9 and 10 December 2013, a second 2 day course for supervisors is organized. The course will bring supervisors in touch with current developments in PhD supervision as well as develop some crucial competences need for good supervision. The course will be run by three different international experts, each bringing a different perspective. The three components of the two day course are:  James Swinson, Understanding PhD Supervision  Stan Taylor, The Post-Humboldtian Doctorate: Implications for Supervisory Practice  Tina Engels-Schwarzpaul, Of Other Thoughts: Transformative potential in non-traditional PhD supervisions Part 1: Understanding PhD Supervision
