Asger Jorn´s Living Architecture

Beskrivelse

This lecture presents the Danish Corbra artist´s and International Situationst´s Asger Jorn´s notion of a living architecture and contextualizes it in the contemporary discourse in architecture and urbanism in terms of user involvement, particiapation and appropriation. The symposium was held on the occassion of Vincent Meessen´s exhibition: "Sir, je suis de l´otre pays" at the Wiels Center for Contemporary Art in Brussels. - Because of an act of terrorism, traffic on air and ground from and two Brussels was blocked and I was therefore unable to deliver the lecture, which had been ready to present.
